Title: Any reason why I can't fit gas front and oil rear shockers?
Post by: boneybradley on 21 February 2013, 09:18
I am wondering is there any reason I shouldn't fit quality (sachs - boge etc) gas front shockers and oil rear shockers to my car.

both are listed my sachs as being o.k for my car but oil rears will save me £100 (which will be nice). The car is lowered about 20mm if that makes a difference

Can't see why not if they're new,  ok its not the perfect scenario but at least theyll be matching pairs on each axle. Personally it'd bug me knowing they weren't all the same though.

P728RYO I have looked on your site and can only find oil rear shockers! yet the fronts listed are gas (sachs and bilstein)
