How is that "in order to meet FIA regulations, the company has had to build 2,500 Polo R WRC high-performance road cars to homologate its new rally racer"?
Completely different engine, no four wheel drive, different gearbox.... and it doesn't look anything like it!
-
Who wants to pay £29k for a Polo?
-
About the same cost as new mk3 16v in 1996 - that's progress for you
-
All left hand drive and not comin to the UK anyway, typical.
-
Dont see the point of bringing that into production, it seems to be as the Golf GTi needs something special on the MK7 to survive not being forced out of production.
-
As JV said nothing like the WRC car plus daft money for an Olop
-
Nothing special and my old Olop would have murdered it!

lets not muck about...

Agree with all. Why would you buy this instead of a GiT (either Mk6 or Mk7).
No FWD, which shouldn't happen on any modern R's !
BHP is similar to GiT
Price....you could buy a Golf with all options for that sort of price !
Even a Golf R is available around that sort of price !
Waste of time, glad its not coming here, can't see even-reasonable sales figures for these
