Title: Gearbox oil

Firstly apologies if this has been asked before but i cant find the answer with the search. i need to do a gearbox oil change and need to know the correct grade of oil to use and the amount needed , any ideas ? mines a 6 speed tdi Arl

Get the correct stuff from VW. It isn't just as easy as replacing it with engine oil. Different kinds...Let me dig out the haynes...

Couldn't find anything in the haynes. Ask for some one with ETKA perhaps  :undecided:

I know you will have to a 'special' plug tool to remove the plug. I asked the stealers and they said they do not sell the tool, but luckily I have found the correct tool for mine. I have been meaning to change mine for a while, not sure if it is good, I guess it won't hurt!
