Hi I have just got a vr6 and I am after a induction kit just wondering wot to go for how is using wot thanks
-
Don't waste your money as they don't work, easier and more beneficial to modify your own airbox for free.
-
I got one because I love the sound of the vr6.
I got a carbon fibre simota kit.
It was a improvement over the green cotton cone filter that was on it.
-
Looks pretty..does nothing.

It has a a plate in the middle with a trumpet on, it's behind the filter. Remove this and it makes a awesome sound.
This and a fall stainless exhaust from manifold and decat and they sound like a r32

my parts car had this

i put it on my car, moved the charcoal cannister to the other side and fitted some flexible duct in its place.
it's getting some cool air from the stock bumper vent and i bought some hofele style vents from dicky on the forums to get this effect going

I've done the same to my gti but got standard air box but modified with 80mm hole and smooth inside.
But I want to know where you moved your canister to? Got pics? I need to relocate mine

facing the front of the car
the charcoal cannister is on the left hand side of the car and is attached using 3 tabs. you push this up from the button of the car to loosen.
the middle of the 3 tabs you cut off
on the right hand side of the car should be mounts that will use the remaining 2 tabs on the cannister. (see pic, almost identical spot to the left side)

attach accordingly and fasten using your favorite method (for me, zip ties)
extend both pipes and run them over the radiator using the factory hose holders

Nice one for that! Great help
-
I like that a lot  will have to do it myself.
-
cheers
its a nice mod, and i think those bumper vents will finish it off nicely (and ram air to the filter!).
-
That is a good mod...
Mines got a BMC Carbon filter....Once again, don't think it does much but sounds good
