Title: How can i find out if my cars had a remap
Post by: cossiemark on 17 February 2013, 12:48
Is there any way to find out if my golf 1.8t has been remapped. the previous owner said he'd had it done but there is no proof in the paperwork.

Divide the highest number by 0.8  :nerd: its not 100% accurate but it gives you a good indication

Does this work with DERVs rhyso?

Sadly not; Dervs work differently.

E.g on a 1.8T you'll see anything from 140 - 200mg/s

On a Derv expect that to be north of 1200mg/s
