Title: Oil leak on my auq head any help welcome :-)

Ok i have an oil trickle down the side of my head it come out of the bottom of these valve shown in the picture below i have changed my rocker cover gasket (used genuine one) but still leaks oil when i have been out in it Red is the valve and blue is where im seeing the oil

I have also got a horrendous leak coming from my AUQ180 head which is getting worse and worse, it's running from the area you've highlighted and working its way down the bell housing and  on to my driveway.


What does the valve do?

Seeing as your heads off, have/can you take the valve off via those 3 torque screws and see what affair is sealing it? O-ring, gasket etc

If anyone has access to a parts diagram for an AUQ180 Head, can you please stick up what that electric valve/sensor is for? and what it actually does within the head?

I've been to main dealer for a recall on my coil packs and they said its Sumat to do with them cam that sencer the gasket is only £8 to fix the leak but looks like a big job as them 3 screws holds part of the cam down :-(

Glad you've said that  :shocked: was gonna rip it out tomorrow and see what it was  :grin:

I've got to pick up some bits from the dealers tomorrow anyway  so will enquire and try and get some parts pictures and info and report back :smiley:

That's the gasket where it says 8.37 there's an half moon bit aswel

Hmmmm I might whip my rocker cover off tomorrow and see what that valve is doing with the cam :smiley:


How much was the rocker cover gasket?
