Post by: dan_thevdub_man on 14 February 2013, 23:34
hi guys, when i start the car for the first time it will not idle for a good 5 mnitues i have to keep it at about 1500rpm and then slowly release the acc pedal.
iv been reading threads and most say to disconnect the mas, but tht doesnt make the slightest bit of differance, any ideas?

Have you cleaned out the maf by any chance ? If not clean it out in a parts cleaner , leave for 30-60 mins and retry
If problem persists you might need a new temperature sensor

Any more problems pm me
