Title: question about offset on my mk2

i dont understand about offsets and et so if someone could clear up a question for me i would really appreciate it.

ive got a mk2 driver, on raceland coils [temp] and i am trying to purchase my wheels, the wheels i want come in 8j and 9j and ET0 or ET10, what i would like to know is can i get these to fit, i will have 8j all around if there is no chance on the 9j but would these et's fit my mk2 and if so which ET is best please, thankyou

Lower the number of the et the more the poke out! over the arches et0 might be ok at the back all depends what size wheels you got  13s 14s 15s etc etc but you can do arch work to get some wheels to fit plus stretch tyres. ET 20-38 iv always found ok. i know people with 15s et0 and pull the arches alot to get them to fit.

ET10 would be the better choice but will still need arch work.

tho i can categorically say they will not fit & even with butchered arches still wont fit
