Oh crap!!! Should I avoid that engine then?

The newer 1.4 tsi has a turbo only. Not a supercharger as well.

See of you can drive one long distance as mine was uncomfortable as hell so I got rid of it.

full sports pack means nice smooth ride and then change it up as you wish. Boss has got one, and its got nearly every optional extra. DSG Semi-manual changes are clearer with the click to my ED30 too so feels like you have changed rather than just moving it forward and back. Rear screens are pointless tho

I had a MK6 Gt with the same engine.
It had 6 breakdowns  and was constantly back at the dealers with the misfire

 that's excessive. Were all the breakdowns related to the misfire tho?

Yes. It had new coils, 3 new engine maps, 3 sets of spark plugs and 2 sets of fuel injectors by the time I got rid at 10k miles. I still wasn't convinced it was fully sorted at the end but by then my confidence had totally gone. The last breakdown happened the day after driving back from Germany and that was the straw that broke the camel's back............
