My dads got a 2.0 GTI all bog standard and gave it a whack the other day going over a speed bump.
Now when you put a load on the engine there is a roaring sound and a strong vibration from under the car which can be felt worst in the footwells.
Not sure where to start looking didn't know if anyone else has ever had similar issue?

Also check the engine mounts are in ok condition. When I broke mine there was a horrible vibration through the pedals :undecided:
