I want to spray my VR6 bbs wheels pink, whats the best way?

First you need to decide if you want to spray them of have them powdercoated.

Spraying them yourself will give you a half decent, cheap finish that won't last particularly long. Getting them powdercoated will cost more, but will provide a better finish and will last a hell of a lot longer.

You won't be able to powder coat your self, will need to take to a wheel refurb specialist.

Im probably looking at spraying them myself as only a temp replacement

Can of primer, some sand paper and some spray paint. Want to see these when done.  :wink:

As long as there is no real corrosion on the wheels, a good keying with some scotch brite pads will be sufficient for the paint to adhere to.

I don't have any issues with citypowdercoating in Birmingham.

Have heard CAS coating is ok iirc.

If you aren't close get em couried  :wink:

Just had mine done, refurb and powdercoat for 35 quid a wheel! thats for 18's, the place i got them done charge 30 quid a wheel for 17's which is a great price
