Title: Cars going in the garage again....

But some something good  :grin:

I'm having the oil pickup pipe changed, new oil, new filter, sump resealed and new sump plug :)
I'm supplying all parts so won't cost much and before anyone says why don't you do it yourself I don't trust myself take the sump off and reseal it without leaks so I'd rather a garage do it lol seeing as I'm supplying the parts I can't Imgen it costing much and I don't know if its ever been changed so don't want my engine seezing like what has happened to some members

didn't you get a quote before they started the work? risky if you didn't. id say about £80 should cover it

Well I have got all the parts from VW yesterday.
* new sump plug.
* 5l 5w 40 platuim.
* oil filter.
* sump sealant.
* oil pickup pipe.
Came to about £68.
I'm just waiting for the garage to call me back with a quote for the work.
