Title: expect another wheel topic ;-) ....
Post by: search on 03 February 2013, 21:56
rolling on ATS CUPS   CLASSICS at the mo and they just look to small for me tbh, so I'm wondering what wheels look good on a mk2? its all well and good telling me to look on google but if I don't no what brand names to look for then its pointless. I'm thinking 15" is a nice nice size?

what size are the cups then

try going thru the mk2 picture thread in this section for ideas then copy the picture over and ask what wheels

and as there are 100s of wheels, its pointless in tell you any - you might never find a set we like

lower I find it hard getting over small speed bumps, some lad down my road has his on the ground I wonder how he even gets over stones lol.

btw its not the grille I'm after it actually the lowest pannel (metal part) budget about £400 but that's with tyres aswell.

Like Mr Blue... 1st Go for BBS.... RZ's or RA's should be on budget (RA's with spare cash) Yo might get a set of split rim RM's for budget BUT are crap for winter, as they can rot and really you need a 2nd set...IMO

2nd ATS Cups.

3rd Borbet A's with deep dishes - but can be expensive....

The Missus has RH Porsche Cups... Not bad but very soft metal and are bent to feck...

all depends on what you want with that budget. only you can choose - but yeah, 15s with 195/50-15s would be a good place to start

would even get ya a brand new set of G60 steels and tyres for £400
