Title: ABF Engine Numbers

Im trying to find the engine number on my ABF mk3 16v. Where will i find the engine numbers stamped on the block.

You can find the engine number from the V5 logbook  :smiley:

Otherwise I'm pretty sure they're stamped on the left hand side of the block at the front, near where it meets the cylinder head.

Im changing the v5 as it has had an engine conversion and the old owner never changed it. Thanks

It's on the sticker on the cambelt cover.
