i've used mk3 ones, no part numbers tho they were samco sillicone things in a nasty yellow but it was a mk3 hose kit

I fitted mk3 ones and used a VR6 pipe that has a bleed tap. Makes bleeding the system easy.
Worth changing that matrix for a new one and ditching the valves. Not a simple job but well worth it. Also fit that blue coolant cap.

change the matrix and ditch the valves works far better

This. Only an idiot would buy new bypass valves. They were fitted because early matrixes weren't up to scratch.
