why only that oil?

lwiggy hasn't even mentioned engine code... probably vep diesel not pd so any 505.00 will do, unless it's a pd then vw 505.01 - longlife is rubbish

Putting in what they've put in the factory, sometimes that is like shooting yourself in the knee ;)

LL2 I woulnd't wanna put in any engine, much like Ford's A1 5w30 (that they still recommend for some engines)... neither of them are good for any engine (with the ONLY exception being R5/V10 VW TDI with plasma coating).
