Title: Relay location?

Before I get blasted, I used the search feature. :tongue:

I got the panel off under drivers side and got to fuses but why have VW put a load of metal to stop viewing??  All I want to do is change the relay for the electric windows and can't for the life of me find it. Please help as it is driving me nuts!

just lower the electrics box, remove the bottom cover, twist the 2 white fasteners on each side and lift it out and to the front. there is a third bobbin holding it on the top left, so you might first have to twist it a bit.

not aware that the windows got an extra relay but there fuse it located on top of the relay box (in a separate fuse holder).

All sorted now, was just loose wiring.  :cool:
