Anyone know if a 16v abf conversion into a 8v would be much cheaper to do than the 20v turbo route?Apologies if this has been covered already.
-
Oh,and before anyone says just buy a 16v,the mrs wants to keep the car we have and so do I really.
-
why
-
In a word, yes. Buy a 16v donor car and transfer everything needed across. If you wanted a 1.8t you'd more then lucky need to buy a 16v donor anyway for parts and then the 1.8t engine on top and customs parts, loom etc
