Title: AGU Missfire...
Post by: Dave-iow on 30 January 2013, 09:23
well went to start the mk2 yesterday and it has a horrfic missfire. (1.8t agu)

We have fuel, we have spark all colis are ok.

So missifre dissapears when you unplug the MAF. Ive read that the ignition amp is a common problem on the AGU lump but would unplugging the MAF remove this fualt if it was ????

Any help or ideas would be good?

Just to confirm this sounds like its running on one cylinder with teh maf plugged in then fine when un plugged.

If it runs fine without the MAF then your MAF is goosed
