Post by: Fiishbmx on 30 January 2013, 08:00
Ok, i want to get my whole fog lights out so i can put my lamin-x on them, had a look and i cant see to see how the grill comes off easy like the mk5's?
does anybody know how your ment to do it? do they just pop off when you pull them? or is it a bumper off job??

Think it's a bumper off job if you want to get the whole light housing out.  If just accessing bulb, then think you access that through panel in wheel arch.

One of my fogs got pushed inwards and out of alignment with grill and to recitfy it bumper has to come off.

it is a bumper off job, but the bumper is very easy to remove.

the lamin x can come pre cut if you get the right kit or you could just make a template using a gash piece then use it to cut out some new film. the gap you would be left with around the edges would be barely noticeable

Bumper off - remove from behind.
