Any one ever done it?
I said I'd take the mrs to Vagus for her 21st been looking into it, and figures why go for a few days I'd rather do this!
Recommendation on who to book with? Or would I be better doing it all separate?
-
Most of it doesnt exist anymore.
-
to be fair, it will take a few days to do all of Vegas
-
And small towns on the old route have become ghost towns or dont exist anymore.
-
That's cool then!! Idea was nice but that's it!!
Ill go vagas for 4 days then
-
Would take a lot longer than 4 days to even do what you still can of Route 66
-
Yeah I can still book it, but if there's not much to see alot the route there's no point doing it?
-
Bucket list jobbie really

Me and the Mrs have been looking into it recently.
It looks like a 3 week job to drive from Chicago to LA and there is around 1800-2000 still driveable miles.
Theres loads of car hire and hotel packages available but it works out expensive. Its looking like £6Kish for the two of us.
Watch Billy Connolly's route 66 programme that was on ITV a few years ago to get you in the mood!

Ah yes! I knew somebody had driven it recently!
