Title: NOISE ?

Hi guy just woundering in have a 150 tdi mk4 golf and i have noticed that the engine is starting to make a tapping noise but oil level is fine some people have said its the flywheel but  the car had a new flywheel and clucth before i got it so any ideas thanks  :smiley:

You will have to be more specific mate.

Top end tapping?
Gearbox tapping?
Timing side tapping?
Tinny tap or more of a knock?

The flywheel would be more of a rumble.

Tappy/tappety noise coming from the top of your engine, the rocker cover, could be a sign of your cams being f**kkkeeddd  :sad:

HI DIZZIE THE CAR HAS DONE 115K AND I DONT THINK THE CAM BEEN DONE I THINK THE NOISE IS COMING FRON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE
