Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right area so if you think I may get more answers elsewhere please can you point me in the right direction?
Yesterday I did a good deed and helped someone jump start their car. Since then neither of my key fobs have unlocked the car by pressing the button, the doors have to be unlocked manually. The radio also no longer turns on and off with the ignition. Again this has to be done manually. I know neither things are a major problem but are very frustrating.
I have a VW Golf Plus TDI 2006.
Please can anyone give me any advice on this?
Thanks,
Jess

if the electric windows and interior lights dont work either it may just be a fuse, i think its #14 or #15 in the side of the dash. If thats a no go then you need to try to reprogram the keys, you'll need vagcom or similar to do this. I wouldn't have thought that would affect the radio though so there may be a couple of issues there. Diagnostic check at a decent VW specialist needed, don't use an ordinary garage they won't have a clue!
