Title: What's needed for deleting things?

Ok so I have a few fault codes to say the least! Some of them are showing the possible causes are EGR valve, EVAP canister purge valve, N249 boost pressure control valve. So instead of replacing them I'm going to delete them. But what's needed when I remove them. Any blanking plates or new pipe work? I've seen links on "how to" guides but if anyone knows how to do these and wants to do it for me for a "small" fee then I would appreciate it more than anything :)

if your car is a 1.8t it wont have an egr valve  :wink:

was it a garage that gave you that list an did they clear the codes

No it was GolfySte on here mate. Cleared them since then. So the MAF code may no longer be there as I have put a new OEM MAF on.

buy a cheap code reader scan it again or do you have a eml on  :smiley:

for the deletes, you need some 10watt 330ohm resistors from what I remember, you need:-
1 for the carbon canister
1 for the N112
1 for the N249 
and 1 for the SAI
