Title: Replacement 'chunky' gearknob/gaiter for MK3 GTi
Post by: Hongkongphooey on 27 January 2013, 21:23
Can someone recommend a good replacement gear knob/gaiter for a Mk3 GTi, the standard one feels so skinny and cheap!

Ideally it would have to be in excellent nick to go with the rest of the car which is pretty mint.

Ideas/offers welcomed.

Cheers

Tom

Cheers for the ideas...I like the idea re the Golf Ball, I remember my dad had one in his MK2 Golf GTi run out model

Is this Golf Ball a direct fit? i.e. does the OEM one just screw off and the Golf Ball screws on? i.e. Is the hole in the ball to fit the same stick diameter?

Cheers

Tom

The screw on ones are the same diameter.
