Got the 8v fixed from the shudderin problem i had in past week, it was distributor cap and rotar, also changed igniton leads. now the cars been 100% for 2 days, and since the snow melted away, and its been raining i noticed a problem, the b**** turns off on me whilst im drivin it, n when it turns off it dunt start back up, i have to rev the fu** out of it, n it will start. but its a pain in the arse, i dno what it is, also when i start it up in mornin at half 6 it is dark and when i turn lights on the car turns off, so could the whole problem be the battery? or something else ?

Sounds like an earthing problem :undecided:

Perhaps a leak somewhere and now the snow has melted, water has got in somewhere and shorting out.

-
Check directly infront of your battery where your 3 main earths go down under the tray mate :). Had this issue last week.
-
So you did not bother trying a different battery or new one then?
Told you in your in your old post, had the exact same issues....
It's got to worth a shot! Just to rule it out

Ecu earth
Crank sensor
They should be your main focus points.
Had the exact same issue, it was the ecu earth.

I know I'm new around here but come on, stringing a sentence together without text talk can't be that hard can it?
-
It's crank shaft sensor, if your certain it's Cutting out in the wet, same problem I had on mine
-
Coil pack is starting to fail....soon it wont even spark, no spark no start
Worth checking the wires on the crank sensor first, if they look ok, not split or bare wires then go for coil, less agro changing the coil too
Good luck
