Title: mk 4 cutting out

Hi all just signed up what have i done! i need some advice from you guys keeps cutting out when it wants to i think its electrical? but not sure any takers.

Is it a 2.0 8v? Could be a sender problem, buy a VAG fault reader, mine was about £20 (available on Amazon) and if you use it to delete the fault it will sort the problem but ideally you need to change the sender - throttle body sender I think!?!

Doe it cut out say when your dropping gear e.g slowing down for a round about?

I had the same problem except mine was due to no petrol in the tank :grin:
