Title: Oil pick up pipes.
Post by: mar_k on 26 January 2013, 19:18
Do all the 1.8ts use the same oil pick up parts?

Just bought my LCR but want to swap the pick up pipe for a new one just to be safe.

Isn't it best to replace it?

For what it cost I feel its the best option, Also puts another receipt in the service history folder
which shows the car is being well maintained.

The hassle of stripping to clean it you might as well replace it

Agreed, for the sake of £12 and the work involved you may as well fit new.
