Title: Air filter ???

Hi guys I have a gti 18 turbo remapped , boost valve decat pipe and chipped but does not have that flutter sound to it I met a guy another day he's gti turbo was big standard but had a lush flutter sound to it when revved can anyone give me a name off filter that does this ? And do I have to change whole pipe or just filter on the end cheers ????

Running an induction kit will help, have a look at the toyosports ones on ebay but run a better quality filter.

My 1.8t used to flutter,quickly becomes very annoying tbh, I run a pipercross cone , I changed the standard valve for a forge 008 and now get a nice ptish, turned out my standard valve was fubarred the diaphragm was holed so maybe the flutter is not a good thing.

some people just put the cone on the MAF but you will get heat soak so you need a shield of some kind on it
 the alternative is the Toyo one but it sits behind the bumper so any large puddles and you risk water on the filter
 if you have a standard dump valve you won't get much ' blow off' anyway, get a forge 007p with appropriate spring (yellow on a stage 1 I think)
