Title: Locking switch on the door card for a R32 faulty
Post by: RAIDEN on 24 January 2013, 14:05
My door when I push the button to lock and unlock the doors does not work most of the time so I think its on its way out. Is it easy to fix? Otherwise in march my MK 5 is getting serviced so should I get them to fix it. Would anyone know what I mite get charged?

If its just the switch easy enough to change. Pretty sure its a door card off job though from memory. Search for mk5 or 6 door card removal to show you and there is a nack to the amount of brute force required that doesn't pop the door clips. 1/2 labour would be normal plus parts if the garage does it for you.

I replaced mine last weekend in under an hour.
