They are worth it .... if you had suspension changed and geom done etc.. keeps everything in check and keeps things tight on the front end ...

not really, at the end of the day its just a bit of metal to add reinforcement. i've got one but fitted it when i fitted my coilovers so couldn't tell you the exact improvement it makes. but one of the reasons i bought it was because they stopped making eibach ones for mk2's, so i got one quickly and now they are like rocking horse sh!t!!! oh and they look lush!

for that price though you can't go wrong, you will see the benefit!

Yes they make a difference. Ive bracked the front upper and lower as well as the rear. The car feels so solid on the road and doesent flex 1 bit on corners. The one you are looking at will do fine. You only tend to pay more money for pretty ones!

Front upper is the only one that'll make any noticeable difference.

mk2's have a subframe which erradicates the need for a front lower, unless your wishbone bushes are shagged. mk1's benefit immensly from front lower braces as they dont have a subframe

rears are just a waste of time. only thing they do is look nice

My front lower was already fitted when i bought the car. Dont really agree with you on the rear brace being a waste of time. I noticed the back end can be a bit skitty without one fitted.
