Post by: fogster on 23 January 2013, 13:38
Had the offer of some Mercedes 8 hole wheels, I know I need adapters just wondering if I have to use the mercedes wheel bolts?

The offset is a little low to run adaptors.

Yes you need the merc wheel bolts

Yeah it kind of is low, but what's the minimum size adaptors you can get? If its 15mm then you will be fine with 195/40/16 tyres and arch rolled.

The rear will be fine. Fronts will be close but both will need rolled arches.

I'm running 8x16 ET25 with 15mm spacers so ET10, rolled front arches and maxed out on stock camber and I have plenty of clearance with 195/45/16 tyres.

Really? How low are you?

My tyres rubbed near full lock with 195/45/16 tyres and I'm 8" et20 with full camber. Changing to 195/40/16 gave me loads of room

You've had to extend your arches and your bumper, now need a respray just to fit your wheels
