Sanding mop, 80 or 60 grip.

 Takes paint straight off, then give the bare metal a dusting of salt, lemon juice, and vinigar....

thats what I did anyway

Needs effort and sanding.

It's not just the paint you need to remove its the galvanise also. Otherwise it won't rust that well.

Then wet it and rub salt rocks on it for ages

NO!!! Like others have said leave the rust to the older cars, it doesn't suit the mk3
