Title: MK4 Gol - Aftermarket Headunit Help.

Hi all


Just fitted a Kenwood headunit... got a couple of problems...

1. I have a spare aerial adapter with a blue wire... is this needed? Seems to be ok without.


2. I cannot fit the plastic surround around the headunit when the new cubby hole is in place. Does anyone have this fitted? Also when i removed my old HU and CD Changer, there was a plastic clip on tray. Its out at the moment but is it still meant to be in place?



3. May have been there before but may not have been, ignition 1 click, fine, ignition until the lights come up on the dash...not fine... I have a weird ticking sound coming from behind the dash. Ive checked connections etc and all is ok, am I doing something wrong?


Something usually so easy has made me go crazy lol...


Any help would be grateful :D

All sorted other then the strange ticking noise!!
