Title: Tank straps

Just pulled my GTi CC onto drive to get ready for mot after 11 months off the road, only problem one of the double tank straps has corroded through and is dragging.

Haven't had a chance to speak to the main dealer, are the tank straps still available or could they be bought from GSF / ECP ?

VW should still have them, not sure if you can get them aftermarket...

Can you still buy the actual tank no-1 I think ?

Cheers bud, will have a chat with my mate on the parts counter this week !
I thought they might be available, as The VW promise that parts will be available for 15Yrs after cease of production(last mk3's being 98 hatch,99 variant )
