Title: mk1 upgrade

just a quick question really what parts can be put out a mk3 2.0 8v gti into a mk one and how hard is fitting  like engine etc
reason being ive got a mkone shell and a mk3 which is being stripped for parts

nothing is impossible... i wouldn't tinker with anything that works on your mk1... you can end up asking for trouble imo.

First things first, what's you MK1 currently running with engine wise?  If it's a 1.8 K-jet, it's not uncommon to do a 2.0 bottom end conversion.

its running a 1.3 engine but wana put my gti mk3 golf engine in as its goin spare
