Title: Clutch pedal has dropped a notch 1.4 Gti
Post by: ComfortablyNumb on 19 January 2013, 18:12
Hi

New to forum, Clueless about cars, I have a MK5 Golf 1.4 Gti, The clutch pedal seems to have dropped down a notch and stays there, I have to flick it back up with my foot.
When I start it up in the morning it's difficult to put it into 1st and 2nd gear, but after driving for 15 mins it all seems to settle down. I've looked on-line and wondered if it could be as simple as clutch/brake hydraulic fluid.
Any feedback or advice would be gratefully received
Regards

1.4 GT.

Seems likely to be master cylinder/slave cylinder. Can be common and around £140 from independent.
