Getting my wheels refurbed as soon as I can afford it. I'm pretty torn on what colour to go for. I'm kinda liking the blue/black theme at the moment. But I think black wheels would be too much. I'm thinking dark grey/anthracite or shadow chrome. Here's the car at the moment.

Any opinions?

Don't do black personally I hate black rims, what about something a bit lary have seen pink rims on that colour mk4 before n it looked good but I'm not sure I could roll around on pink rims!! Green n orange also looks good, white always looks good on blue if you didn't want anything lary but want to change the colour

+1 for the white!

I'm going through a very similar situation at the moment, having just bought some 2nd hand Monza Shadows for my black GTD. Can't help but want to do something a bit different, (though I'm going to attempt to do it myself).
I would agree with white though, I think that would look great on your car. Or Gold?
(Surely there are some photoshoppers here who could edit your image to give you an idea what it would be like? I had a go, but I've got limited skills in this area. The front wheel came out okay in white, but I couldn't get my selection tool to properly select the back wheel to edit that.)

White doesnt look too bad actually, was gonna have a go at doing get refurb myself too. But the wheels are quite badly curbed. The only reason I bought them was because they came with 5 brand new tires that were worth more than what I paid for the wheels! Gonna heve to try my hand at photoshopping a few different colours.

Sounds very much like what I used to do many moons ago...often got alloys, with decent wheels, off an auction site or the FreeAds, for cheaper than a new set of tyres.
If you can't get on too well with photoshop, go to Google Images and have a search. I wanted to know what Black or Grey Monza Shadows would look like on a Black Golf, and there are plenty of examples.

Here's my first attempt at photoshop, this is the anthracite I was considering

Nice, but while I do like Anthracite Alloys, your car colour is great and I think that colour looks a bit...I dunno...dull. You want something with more "pop" I reckon.
Gold!

Or colour-coordinated blue!
