Bit of a novice when it comes to wheels- seen some longbeach alloys for sale I was thinking of running as winters.
looking at tyres 195/50 R15s seem to be quite popular size, will these fit with no issues?

If he wants them as winters, surely the Toyo Snowsport would be a better choice than T1Rs which are utterly tragic in snow and bad weather?

I find the t1r good in the wet!
Only winter tyre I've used is continental winters found them very good. Had them on my bmw 528 and was awesome in the snow. Could also do full throttle launch in the wet with no wheel spin. Traction control off obviously.
195/50/15 is a good size for winter. Wouldn't hurt to go 195/55/15 if they are cheeper

So do I...that's why I run them.
Byt they are crap in the cold.

I've used Toyo, Pirelli, Vredestein, Michelin and Avon winters...and although some are better than others...it's the jump to winter tyres that gives the advantage.
If anyone goes to the trouble of getting winter wheels...any set of cold weather designed tyres is a real advantage.

will never use toyos again after using avon zv5. better in the dry and much, much better in the wet and they same price

wow find some for me please. I can get 4 toyo t1r's for £153. Can't find Avon for less than £200 plus I thought the zv3's are meant to be better no?

Well I went for the ContiWinterContact 800 195/50 R15 in the end- really pleased on how the Longbeaches look
Just another question- were the brakes uprated on the Anniversary as the front calipers are very very close to the inside of wheel- there's no fouling though. When I changed the discs and pads last year I got the 288mm discs.
