Seriously, what the f**k is wrong with some people on the roads!? Mway/dual carriage way driving, casually cruising at 70/80 cars in front randomly brake, causing a domino affect as no one keep any sort of distance between cars! I can see there was no need to as the road ahead is clear! This then causes me to brake/take evasive action
Probably txting or flicking their bean! Makes me so angry, and possibly causes accidents!
I have so many other bug bears but I will refrain and save for another time when I need a release.
Rant over.
Apologies.

this might not have happened if you left enough space between you an the car infront

I always leave plenty of space, people brake that much that me lifting of the gas isn't enough!
-
You said you took evasive action.
This can only be the case with a combination of tail gating and lack of attention.
-
A friend of a friend brake tests people if they are tail gating them. Just to let them know that they are being twits for driving so close to the car in front. Invariably the tail gater undertakes and becomes really aggro. Alas that is normal these days
-
I just flick my rear fog lights on a few times rather than use my brakes
-
I just slow down gently so if they do go into the back of me it's not as bad.
Really not worth stamping on the brakes, using the horn or giving the finger these days as I have found out fairly recently.
Best to breathe and let it go.

Why what happened?

Yep, anyone tailgating me and I put my lights/rear fogs on. Soon back off then!

Nothing with me, a mate did it going into Croydon and had a knife pulled out. My mate got the better of the bloke and awaiting a court date.
So now I just kinda think, would it be worth getting stabbed over?
-
Why would you even attempt to do anything against a twit with a knife?

your mate should have stuck the knife up the guys arse  but then its him that gets charged

Think the bloke held it up to him so he grabbed his wrist and thumped him one.
Fight occurs, held him with another mate in the car and the police came. All three in handcuffs. Stupid really.

some muppet brake tested me today and crashed. but comeing down a big long drag on ice isn't nice and your going to speed up engine brakeing so left them proably 1/4 mile gap to start with and they managed to use it all up fannying about and then wonderd why i was getting close

Exactly, every time I get angry with another driver's stupidity I end up stewing over it for ages...it's just not worth it. Now I just let things slide.
The tail-gating on the motorway and subsequent traffic congestion does wind me right up though. Especially annoys me when there are Matrix signs saying "40mph" or something, which 99.9% of drivers pay no attention to, and then when those drivers doing 80mph still approach the slow traffic they find it helpful to put on their hazard lights, warning everyone behind.
