1999 golf agu 1.8t ....bloody car unlocks itself and the windows go down and this happens after five mins of locking ....and also when driveing after a few mins the doors lock and the indicators flash ..ive disconnected the battery at the moment .any help would be great .

unlock the car, take battery out of keys, lock car with the key, if it doesn't go crazy like it has, the button on your key is sticking, if everything still goes wrong, it'll be you ccm

Still no joy ....even when driveing my hazards flash every now and then ...

-
i would have a guess at one of your door locks playing up use the search and you will find no end about how rubbish the mk4 door locks are. a bloke on ebay is selling new ones at a good price and super fast postage
-

I think its the drivers door because if i unlock it with the key the immobiliser light stays on and you can open the door ...i need to sort this and quick .
-
Try unlocking the passenger side door with the key and see if does the same
-
door lock module has common faults, fairly simple to replace just have to be careful with glass.
Could always take fuses out for windows as temp fix to stop them from going down
-
Its all sorted out now ......The fix was .......I have no idea it fixed its self lol
