Just wondering what mileage you guys are getting from your original discs and pads?
I changed the rears at 65k miles but the fronts are on the original discs and pads at 81k miles with approx 70% worn (what VW told me at the service I had in December).
Is this the norm ???

Sounds like you don't do much braking to me.

For everyday driving this sounds like better than average wear.
I don't really know what to expect from standard discs, I've got some D&G EBC discs and they've done 15,000 miles and they've got over 80% left, so I'm presuming they all last a lifetime. The same Yellowstuff pads I have had on for the same time have 70% left too!
