Going to pick up a turbo shortly apprently it's got shaft play. Just wondering how I can determine how bad it is that would require a rebuild as discussed on a different thread and also weather it's even worth it

If its a k03s there will be slight side to side shaft play but thats fine, its the up and down shaft play you don't want at all.

It can be rebuilt I think but where to draw the line I dont know, sorry I'm not a turbo expert and have never rebuilt one.

Definite rebuild on the cards still good for a 50 quid turbo bit the bearing is shot on it
