hi all, under the bi-xenons there are bulbs with a yellowish color. you can have those on with the fog lights w/o the xenons, or on with the xenons when the car is in auto mode. In any case, the yellowish bulbs mess my gti's good looks  any recommendations on what kind of bulb to change those with, so that I get a similar hue to the xenon one?
also I would like to do the same with the fog lights, yellowish again, when on with the xenons it looks like 2 completely different colors - which they actually are
btw, any recommendations for changing the cabin lights / number plate into leds???
thanks

The bulb in the main headlight is your parking (side) light. You could change it for a Can-Bus friendly LED bulb, or something like a Phillips Blue Vision for a cheaper option. LED's can tend to look a bit too blue, whereas the Phillips bulbs are a closer match to the OEM xenons.
As for the fog lights not matching the xenons, the simple answer is to not turn them on. They do feck all anyway.

+1 I haven't even checked to see if my fogs work on this ED35

dubber, right on re: the fog lights, I do use them in really foggy areas high up the mountains at this time of the year.
as for the parking lights, those stay on when xenons are on and by looking at how the car looks, they really piss me off. why, oh, why pay more than 1k pounds for the xenons and vw have us suffer that cheapish yellow line below them?? I may give the Philips you recommend a try and see how they look, thanks. Done some research on it, I see they come at about 45 pounds a pair. I think it's best to take the bulbs out of the car and take them with me when I buy the Philips ones to make sure they're the same shape etc. thanks again for the insightful info
