Title: Rear driver side brake light
Post by: Perryd84 on 15 January 2013, 10:51
I noticed the other day that my driver side brake light was out so I went to change the bulb but the bulb was fine.
So put it back still nothing. Wriggled it round a bit and it came on ...........but........went over a bump and it went off again
Repeated my original step but same result!

Pretty stumped on what to do other then replace the bulb cluster but that seems a bit drastic for a lose bulb?!
Any ideas??

I would check the housing of the bulb and ensure the metel is holding the bulb in tight if that makes sence?

Checked the fitting and seems pretty tight no more give than any of the other bulbs.
Gonna get out the super glue and glue the bastad in at this rate

Checked out all the contacts cleaned it all up and got it working then it went off again!
Got a new bulb and its been fine since so looks like a faulty bulb or its on its way out!
Problem solved thanks for the help
