I noticed the other day that my driver side brake light was out so I went to change the bulb but the bulb was fine.
So put it back still nothing. Wriggled it round a bit and it came on ...........but........went over a bump and it went off again
Repeated my original step but same result!
Pretty stumped on what to do other then replace the bulb cluster but that seems a bit drastic for a lose bulb?!
Any ideas??
-
I would check the housing of the bulb and ensure the metel is holding the bulb in tight if that makes sence?
-
Checked the fitting and seems pretty tight no more give than any of the other bulbs.
Gonna get out the super glue and glue the bastad in at this rate
-
might be a bit of corrosion on the holder
-
Cheers I'll have a closer look at the connections and check for any corrosion when I get out of work and let ya know how i get on.
-
Just wire it in so it is permanently live

Try clleaning the contacts
-
Checked out all the contacts cleaned it all up and got it working then it went off again!
Got a new bulb and its been fine since so looks like a faulty bulb or its on its way out!
Problem solved thanks for the help
