Hello all, thought I'd join up considering I own 2 Mk2 Golf GTIs.  Ones a 3 door and ones a 5 both in tornado red.  Here are some pics.  :smiley:

Sadly the 3 door is now a shell and the 5 door is for sale as it needs work.  Looking at getting a 3dr Mk2 GTi in white.  Seen one on here which I hope doesn't sell till I get my money  :grin:

So come on then, why have you got the same car twice?

one for lows and one for thrashing?

Do they both have the same motor or are they different models?

The one on the left is completely standard 1.8 8v.  The one on the right was a 2.1 8v.

Yeah, engine was about as much use as an ejector seat on a helicopter!  It is now a shell, was going to be a project but I'm just going to buy a car with the 1.8t in it.  Or a minter and slap one in.  The 5 door needs a new home too.
