Title: advice on ecu swap

Hi all... im planning on buying an already remapped ecu for my mk4 golf gti, can anyone tell me what i need and need to do in order to swap ecu's... is it something that can be done and how hard isit?

the ecu is from an agu which mine is also... thanks in advance.

as a decent tuner will be able to have the map the way you want it  :smiley: an is the ecu unlocked so you dont need the key

also a decent tuner will check your car over 1st to make sure its ready for a map,so i would just go that route  :smiley:

I would save the hassle and go for a remap on your own ECU.

You say this but me a Barry do high jack a lot of threads with stiff like this for example when someone was asking about red gtis me and him found a few then we both agreed blue was the best colour ain't that right

back on topic the AGU ECU is very easy to code in but it must have exactly the same part number to save any hassle
