Has any owners of there ed35s our gti inc tuned had a top speed out of there's? If so how fast, of course on circuit our autobahn
-
I can't see the top speed being more than 4-5mph more than the standard car. It would need considerably more power to pull even more revs at the top end of 6th gear.

I reckon you'll be talking in the low 160's, if 6th is that long

I've seen 170 atleast 6 times and have photos of 165,speedos over read slightly but I'm going for the 170 photo soon when I have the balls

My old stage 2+ ED30 did 168mph on the GPS on the Nurburgring. Same engine and DSG box as the ED35.
-
I've clearly seen 170+ so giving the speedo slightly over reading I'd say bout 170 ish then?

Speedo reads around 10 mph out at that speed. I was touching 180mph with the speedo at 168mph GPS.

My ED30 speedo was not that accurate about 6 mph out at 80 but ED35 (both of them) only 2 mph out at 80 using the same GPS. May be down to running 19's (225/35) as rolling circumference is very slightly larger than 18's (225/40). Worst was my first MK6 which was 8 mph out at 80. Not sure what they would be at those sorts of speeds, wouldn't want to by trying to look at my GPS either unless I was on a closed road or track. However as mine has not been mapped I don't know what the max on the speedo would read may be an indicated 155-160?

I've hit 160 when car was stock on way to milltek,

Generally, a standard speedometer will over-read by approx 10%
