Title: arb bushes
Post by: sharki786 on 13 January 2013, 11:45
I think my arb is knocking as when driving at low speeds on very slightly bumpy rds i get a knocking noise. Now i have replaced nearly all of the bushes on the front apart from the subframe, steering rack & arb bushes.
Now my questions are is it worth me going poly bushes? I have poly bushed my wishbones. Do i poly bush the arb??? It is a standard arb not uprated.

Thanks

P.s what size do i need? 19mm or larger?
Cars mk3 gti 8v agg engine code

Thanks

Not worth it with standard bar, its soft so why the need to tighten up the ends?

Have you checked that the drop links aren't broken or secured properly?

Quite common for these to snap, especially cheap welded items.
Often spin round and puncture the CV boot.....
