Title: Rear door won't open

My rear door won't open on my mk4. When you open the car remotely the popper will raise ever so slightly. It used to open if you persevered but now I can't get it open. Anybody have any ideas on what it is and how I can open the door? When opening the car the popper will move ever so slightly so nothing dead, most prob it's jammed. Any advice would be great. Cheers

Search YouTube and there's a video on how to get in with a bit of wire. Then get some wd40 on the mechanism. Hope this helps.

When I had it open before sprayed WD40 everywhere but still hasn't helped. Could it be the door module or dodgy lock?

VW did mine, it needed a new lock motor unit, wasn't cheap but it looked a pig of a job to do and I didn't fancy it.
